The Mill Renews Contract

It has been confirmed that special effects company The Mill - the company behind every one of Doctor Who's CGI (Computer Generated Imaging) from 2005 to 2009 - have officially renewed their contract with BBC Wales to create the CGI effects for Series 5.

Will Cohen, the Group Director for Film and TV at The Mill and Visual FX Producer on Doctor Who, said, "The Mill is absolutely delighted to be on board for the new series. We are looking forward to be welcoming the next incarnation of the Doctor and working with the new team to bring their creative visions to life, continuing to create striking visuals to support the narrative and making the new Doctor Who series in high definition look more like a movie than ever before!"

It has not been said, yet, how long this contract goes on until; presumably 4 to 5 years as that's how long the previous contract stood for.

What do you think of The Mill's work on the show?
