Hamlet's in the Can

The BBC TV production version of Hamlet, starring David Tennant and Patrick Stewart, has now completed filming. Once post-production is also finished, this production is set to be the highest selling educational DVD in Britain and will be aired on BBC One some time later this year.

Hamlet is also to be aired in America, probably on the channel BBC America in early 2010. While we wait, Illuminations Media have compiled a high-detail blog account of the recording of this production in June.

Are you going to watch and/or buy it this when it is released? What do you think about it?

  1. Actually in the state's it'll probably be shown on PBS as part of Great Performances. That's where they showed the McKellan/McCoy King Lear.

  2. No, Action Ranger Timmy, the Hamlet production is going to be shown on BBC America, not PBS.
