Doctor Who Movie Confirmation?

Claims have been made that plans of a Doctor Who big-screen film featuring David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor will be confirmed during the special Doctor Who panel (reported on previously by DWF) at the San Diego Comic Con 2009 in July. Apparently Russell T Davies and David Tennant will confirm this long-awaited rumour some time in the Q & A session.

Rumours of a big-screen movie were even being bandied about in 2006 around the time Series 2 ended. However, the speculations were fuelled even more when "Doctor Who - The Movie" appeared a few months ago on Russell T Davies' CV on his website and was discovered by fans of the show.

Other people on the Doctor Who panel include Julie Gardner, former Exective Producer from 2003 to 2009, and Euros Lyn, who has directed a total of 13 episodes of Doctor Who (including a lot of the most memorable ones and the 2 final 2009 specials) and the upcoming 5-part Series 3 of Torchwood, 'Children of Earth'.

Do you think a Doctor Who movie will be made? Are you going to this year's SDCC?
