Moffat said this: “Fans always look back, but shows have to look forward. There’s a brand new audience of kids for Doctor Who each year and they have to think it’s their programme, not some relic that belongs to their parents. I’m as obsessed with the show’s past as many in the audience, but I have to resist my impulse and keep everything fresh.”
I think it's reasonable, after all... nine episodes?! That's over-use isn't it? What do you think?
UPDATE: Can I just point out to the people commenting on this post saying the Daleks are in Series 5. Yes, I know now, thanks. If you could just take a look at the date this news was posted and then to when we found out the Daleks are in Series 5 from the trailer, you'll realise this was in fact posted months before we discovered it.
