Fan Art #3 – Nobody Dies

PostBanner_FAN-ART_thumb2Here is another of my fan art, this time based  around Torchwood: Miracle Day. This piece of artwork is entirely by me and is called “Nobody Dies”.

Some sort of poster or something for Torchwood: Miracle Day.
VERY EXCITED!!

Unless you haven't seen the clips from the BBC 'Original British Drama' trailer, that face is a mask featured in the show. I'm pretty certain that isn't a huge spoiler, if a spoiler at all.

BBC Original Drama Trailer – First Torchwood Teaser Clips!

articleimage_477
A few days ago, as I’m sure you’ve all heard, the BBC began showing a new trailer of theirs to showcase their new original British dramas, which they cut up into a brief selection of clips for each drama.

Not only did they quite rightly feature Doctor Who – and a couple of new shots in that section of Mondasian Cybermen & Captain Avery from ‘Curse Of The Black Spot’ aboard the TARDIS – in all its sci-fi glory, they shocked us all into excitement with some completely brand new clips of Torchwood: Miracle Day showing it to be, in my opinion, absolutely breathe-taking, epic and funny (good ol’ Gwen!).

BBC Original British Drama – Doctor Who Series 6 & Torchwood: Miracle Day

Mondasian Cybermen! Masked people walking eerily across a street! Captain-Jack-Attack! Car chase on a beach! Car chase on a beach followed by helicopter! Explosions!
And…….

“If you’re the best England’s got to offer, then God help you.”
“I’m Welsh.” THWACK!!

Torchwood is back!

What are your thoughts on this trailer? Are you looking forward to Torchwood: Miracle Day?

Torchwood’s bigger than ever…

articleimage_474
Speaking to World Screen, Julie Gardner (producer of Torchwood from day one) joined Capt’n J himself (I’m not going to call him that again, I promise) John Barrowman and Bill Pullman (playing convicted murderer Oswald Danes)  in a three-way interview to promote the fourth series of Torchwood, titled ‘Miracle Day’…

Julie said of the new series’ new venture into a co-production partnership between themselves of the BBC and US cable channel Starz, “It helps us reach some scale, as we’ve had the opportunity to film in the UK and America. We’ve also got bigger stunts, more action, more background artists, so there is an on-screen value. The single most important thing to say is that, at heart, the show remains the same.”

Hugh Bonneville on Who’s Pirates

articleimage_478
The BBC’s official Doctor Who website has put up an exclusive interview with the main guest star of ‘The Curse of the Black Spot’ actor Hugh Bonneville, whom some of you may recognise from ITV’s successful and highly acclaimed period drama Downton Abbey. He has also starred more recently in the BBC documentary-style comedy series Twenty Twelve, based on the goings on during the developments of the planning of the London 2012 Olympics (narrated by David Tennant, nonetheless, and starring Jessica Hynes).

Doctor Who ‘The Curse Of The Black Spot’ airs this Saturday 7th May on BBC One at 6:15pm and on BBC America at 9:00pm
