John Barrowman Wants to Come Back!
Earlier on tonight, regular set reporter for Doctor Who Magazine Benjamin Cook has been on the set of Torchwood: Miracle Day today during their filming of part of the final few episode of the series. He tweeted just after his interview with John Barrowman, saying that the man who plays Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who and his spin-off Torchwood does want to return!
The tweet follows coincidentally on from the post I wrote earlier today about Steven Moffat expressing his wishes for Captain Jack Harkness to return to Doctor Who (DWF - ‘Moffat wants Captain Jack Back”).
Here is the said tweet…

@benjamin_cook - Benjamin Cook
Just asked John Barrowman if he'd consider a return to Dr Who. "Of course!" he said. "I want to come back. I'd do it at the drop of a hat."
Both parties want it to happen! I think it’s time Steven Moffat made this a reality!

Moffat wants Captain Jack Back
Steven “The Moff” Moffat has spoken out recently in response to a question during an interview with The Gothamist and said how he would like Captain Jack Harkness, who’s first appearance was in a Moffat-written story, to come back to meet Matt Smith’s Doctor.
When asked about whether he would use any characters from the Russell T Davies era of Doctor Who from 2005-2010, he replied: "There's no rule against that. People talk as if somewhere there's been some schism." Then went on to say, "I mean, Jack - who I wrote in the show - I'd love to have him back. I was thinking he should really be here recently but he's busy Torchwood.”
Moffat continued, "And I mean there are references to Davies's characters - we just had a reference to Rose, in fact. In my head there is a continuing story. There's no idea that we're abandoning anything. There is an element that The Doctor moves on from people in a rather scary but inevitable way. He won't be nearby forever."
And I have to say, I’d love to see Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who one again, and especially alongside Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor and being written by Steven Moffat again for the first time since ‘The Empry Child’/’the Doctor Dances’.
Elsewhere on our screens, Captain Jack will make his epic come-back to our screens in Torchwood: Miracle Day, after the show’s two-year hiatus, as a co-production between BBC Wales, BBC Worldwide and Starz Entertainment.
Torchwood: Miracle Day is set for its TV premiere on 8th July 2011.

‘The Rebel Flesh’ Synopsis
The BBC Press Office have now released the official synopsis press release for the fifth episode of Series 6, titled ‘The Rebel Flesh’…
A solar tsunami sends the TARDIS hurtling towards a futuristic factory on Earth, where human doppelgangers are used to mine dangerous acid, as the time-travelling adventures continue.
A second wave hits and the "Gangers" separate. They can remember every second of their "original's" life and feel every emotion they've ever experienced. But are these memories stolen or have they been bequeathed? Are the Gangers merely faulty machinery that must be shut down or are they living, breathing, sentient beings? Can the Doctor convince the terrified humans to accept these "almost people" and prevent an all-out civil war before the factory explodes?
The Doctor is played by Matt Smith, Amy by Karen Gillan and Rory by Arthur Darvill.

Dr Who Insider – A Chat With Karen Gillan

Here is the new, and much more brief than the others, Doctor Who Insider, this time Karen Gillan chats a little bit about her encounter with the claustrophobic body bags and experiences of being shot (in the show, of course) at the beginning of the last episode, ‘Day Of The Moon’…
"Body-bags that BODIES go in!"
Don't you just love Karen Gillan?
