Murray Asked to Stay

The Doctor Who special San Diego Comic Con panel took place last week and Murray Gold, Doctor Who's music composer from 2005, was there in the audience - the panel (David Tennant, Russell T Davies, Julie Gardner and Euros Lyn) even pointed him out.

Apparently the person who sat next to Murray asked him whether he will be composing the music for Series 5, following rumours that he was stepping down after the 2009 specials. Murray's answer was that he had been asked to stay on.

The exact quote from the person next to Murray is...
"I was lucky to sit by Murray at the Doctor Who panel @ Comic Con. I asked him if it was true that he was leaving the show. He replied that he's been asked to stay on. He's a very nice guy. The show would be immensely fortunate to have him stay with it."

Do you think Murray will stay? Do you want him to stay?

Do you want Christopher Eccleston back for the 50th Anniversary?
