Georgia Joins Casualty

It has been reported that 24-year-old actress Georgia Moffett (The Doctor'sdaughter in the real world and Whoniverse) has been signed up for a role in BBC One's long-running medical soap Casualty as a junior doctor in September this year.

Casualty is the longest running emergency medical drama series in the world. It was created by Jeremy Brock and Paul Unwin, first broadcast in 1986. The programme is based around the fictional Holby City Hospital and focuses on the staff and patients of the hospital's Accident and Emergency Department and even has its own spin-off show in the form of Holby City.

Georgia is one of four newcomers joining the 24th series of Casualty, along with Laura Aikman, Steve Miller and Will Sharpe.
