Captain John Returns

According to Doctor Who's Wikipedia website (tardis.wikia.com), it has been confirmed that James Marsters will return to his role as Captain John Hart in Torchwood: Children of Earth.

The 46-year-old American-born actor has played notable roles in programmes such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville, Without A Trace, etc. James is also an accomplished musician. He has even played at a concert of his own with Gareth David-Lloyd (Ianto Jones in Torchwood).

Captain John Hart first appeared in Torchwood's 'Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang' in Series 2 and made a come-back in 'Fragments' and 'Exit Wounds'. He came from Captain Jack's past and is also a fellow Time Agent from the 51st Century. As with Jack Harkness, John Hart is not his real name, it is a name he was "wearing".

Are you pleased he is returning? What do you think?

  2. This is complete bollocks. He's not in it. He's confirmed that, and there's no sign of him in any of the BBC promotional material that's everywhere now. You're going to look remarkably silly when it airs shortly.

Anyone can write anything into Wikipedia, did you not realise? It's completely unreliable as a source.

Do you want Christopher Eccleston back for the 50th Anniversary?
YES!! - That would be absolutely brilliant!
Not sure - I'm not bothered either way, to be honest...
