Two ex-companions of Doctor Who are the narrators of a duo of upcoming BBC Audio releases. Michelle Ryan (who starred as Lady Christina De Souza in the first 2009 Special, 'Planet of the Dead') will narrate an audio-only story called 'The Rising Night' by Scott Handcock, which is a horror story set in 18th Century Yorkshire with the Tenth Doctor. The Doctor encounters the "nightmarish people" named the Baobhan Sith!Caroline John (who played the Third Doctor's companion Liz Shaw) has recorded her linking narration and exclusive bonus interview for the upcoming soundtrack release of 'The Ambassadors of Death'. This is due for release some time in August 2009.
