Torchwood’s bigger than ever…

Speaking to World Screen, Julie Gardner (producer of Torchwood from day one) joined Capt’n J himself (I’m not going to call him that again, I promise) John Barrowman and Bill Pullman (playing convicted murderer Oswald Danes)  in a three-way interview to promote the fourth series of Torchwood, titled ‘Miracle Day’

Julie said of the new series’ new venture into a co-production partnership between themselves of the BBC and US cable channel Starz, “It helps us reach some scale, as we’ve had the opportunity to film in the UK and America. We’ve also got bigger stunts, more action, more background artists, so there is an on-screen value. The single most important thing to say is that, at heart, the show remains the same.”
