Catherine Zeta-Jones in Dr Who Movie

The Sun has reported today that Russell T Davies is "desperate" for Catherine Zeta-Jones, the famous Welsh actress, to star in a rumoured big-screen movie version of Doctor Who.

The Sun quoted Russell as saying: “Being from Wales myself, I’d love to have Catherine Zeta Jones as a companion for the Doctor.” When asked if someone would replace David Tennant as the Doctor for a movie (such as happened in previous Who movies) he said, “To have anyone else would be inconceivable.” and added “I haven't had time to spit, let alone make a film. It would be hard but it’s a lovely idea.”

The official airdate of the first episode of sarah Jane adventures Series 2 has been announced! The second series will start on Monday 29th September at 5:00pm with the first part of 'The Last Sontaran' by Phil Ford.

BBC Official Website Update

The team who create the Sarah Jane Adventures official website have updated the website ready for Series 2. Mr Smith's screen has changed (the multi-coloured crystal-like screen has been replaced), the computer has changed a little (this is where you can find some of the promotional images below), the Secret Files have been updated and files on ATMOS and the "lost planet" cases can be found and there is also a new videos page. The Favourite Episode Project

Right, so, seeing as though there isn't really any news in the world of Doctor Who and everyone seems to be getting quite bored, I've hatched a plan. So, this week I've got a voting poll for you favourite Series 1 episode and next week it will be favourite Series 2 episode, the week after is series 3 and so on. The polls won't include mini-specials (such as the Children in Need and Proms specials) as I don't count these as full episodes, but will include the Christmas specials.

For each week the 2 highest voted episodes will go into the final vote (without making it sound like a weird gameshow) where you will vote for your favourite out of the remaining 8 episodes to find out which is the overall average favourite episode since the 2005 revival.
